Chamois No. 31 is a one-of-a-kind meerschaum pipe, carved by hand at the White Earth Atelier workshop in Eskişehir, Türkiye.
Chamois carving runs across the bowl and shank, cut from the same block rather than applied to it.
The material is sepiolite — block meerschaum — taken from the seams around Eskişehir. It cuts cleanly when damp and firms up as it dries, holding detail that would crumble in most stone.
