Returns & Cancellations
Terms are agreed in writing before payment for each piece. This page explains the general position; your written confirmation from the atelier governs your order.

Catalogue pieces
If a catalogue piece arrives and is materially not as described or photographed, contact the atelier within a reasonable period of delivery and it will agree a resolution with you.
Because every piece is photographed unretouched from every angle before purchase, natural variation in the stone — tonal differences, small inclusions, tool evidence — is a characteristic of the material rather than a defect.
Commissions
A commission is made to your brief and approved by you from photographs before dispatch. Once approved and carved, a commission is not returnable except where it is materially not as specified.
Cancellation terms and the treatment of any deposit are set out in the written specification agreed before carving starts.
Statutory rights
Nothing here limits any rights you have under the consumer law of your country. Where local law grants you a stronger right than this page describes, that law applies.
