Carved in Eskişehir from genuine block meerschaum, Dragon Cigarette Holder No. 45 is a single, unrepeatable meerschaum cigarette holder.
The dragon is worked directly into the block, so the carving and the bowl are one piece of stone.
Genuine block meerschaum is carved, not moulded. Pressed meerschaum is made from offcuts bound together; this piece is cut from solid material, which is what allows undercut detail to survive.
This piece is documented in 4 unedited photographs so the carving, the grain and any natural marks in the stone can be judged before you enquire.
