Carved in Eskişehir from genuine block meerschaum, Freehand No. 30 is a single, unrepeatable meerschaum pipe.
Freehand carving runs across the bowl and shank, cut from the same block rather than applied to it.
The material is sepiolite, block meerschaum, taken from the seams around Eskişehir. It cuts cleanly when damp and firms up as it dries, holding detail that would crumble in most stone.
