About this piece

Chief No. 7 is a one-of-a-kind meerschaum pipe, carved by hand at the White Earth Atelier workshop in Eskişehir, Türkiye.

Chief carving dominates the form, supported by man's portrait work on the surrounding surfaces.

The material is sepiolite — block meerschaum — taken from the seams around Eskişehir. It cuts cleanly when damp and firms up as it dries, holding detail that would crumble in most stone.

This piece is documented in 8 unedited photographs so the carving, the grain and any natural marks in the stone can be judged before you enquire.

Exact measurements, stem material, filter fitting, weight and case are confirmed individually before dispatch — each piece is measured by hand rather than listed from a template. Message the atelier on WhatsApp or by email quoting IND-07 and we will confirm availability, the full specification and delivery to your country.

Availability and delivery

This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Availability is confirmed personally before any payment is discussed — messaging the atelier does not reserve or purchase it. Shipping is quoted per destination once the country is known, because import rules for this category vary and the atelier confirms it can fulfil an order before accepting one.
