Horse No. 17 is a one-of-a-kind meerschaum pipe, carved by hand at the White Earth Atelier workshop in Eskişehir, Türkiye.
Horse carving runs across the bowl and shank, cut from the same block rather than applied to it.
Meerschaum is porous and light for its size. With use it draws in tobacco oils and shifts gradually from white through yellow and amber, so a piece like this changes colour over years of ownership.
