Mythological No. 6 is a one-of-a-kind meerschaum pipe, carved by hand at the White Earth Atelier workshop in Eskişehir, Türkiye.
The carver has set the bacchus against vine and grape and mythological detail, cut into the same block.
Meerschaum is porous and light for its size. With use it draws in tobacco oils and shifts gradually from white through yellow and amber, so a piece like this changes colour over years of ownership.
This piece is documented in 10 unedited photographs so the carving, the grain and any natural marks in the stone can be judged before you inquire.
